The community is invited to a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the passage of the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Act, the legislation that created regional centers to provide services to California’s citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event features a viewing of the documentary We’re Here to Speak for Justice. Popcorn and soft drinks available. Regional Center staff will be available to answer questions or receive comments following the one hour, 10-minute show. Sponsored by the Board of Directors for the Redwood Coast Regional Center.
