They chained themselves to an unoccupied bulldozer using the welded metal pipes
that have become so familiar in the environmental battlefield surrounding Headwaters Forest.

When a team of sheriff's deputies arrived, they warned
the two young men to release themselves or be treated with pepper spray.
'The Two,' as they have come to be known in legal papers,
refused and were subsequently doused with the stinging chemical ..."

and that has yet to be determined. ..."
