Bear River Casino Resort is excited to present Taco Fest 2024, the most anticipated food and entertainment festival of the year in beautiful Humboldt County, California! Join us on September 28th, 2024, for an action-packed day filled with a variety of taco trucks, margaritas, delicious indulgences, and taco-themed activities, all while being entertained by live bands on stage. It's our 3rd Annual Taco Fest, and we want you to be part of the fun!


Vendor Registration Options:

We are thrilled to offer several opportunities for vendors to showcase their products and services at Taco Fest 2024. To apply, select your vendor type, fill out the registration form, and provide the required documents through the provided Dropbox link. Returning vendors receive a 50% discount on their registration fees!


Important Note: You do not have to be a taco vendor to participate. In fact, we encourage a diverse range of vendors to register. The only requirement is that you have one taco of any kind on your menu.


Food Truck Vendors - $200 ($100 for returning vendors)

  • Details: Perfect for mobile food vendors with a fully operational kitchen on wheels.
  • Requirements:
      • Completed registration form
      • Valid food truck permit
      • Health department certification
      • Proof of insurance
      • Space Provided: 20x10 OR 10x10 tent space


Food Tent Vendors - $150 ($75 for returning vendors)

  • Details: Ideal for vendors who prefer to set up a tent to serve their delicious taco creations and other food items.
  • Requirements:
      • Completed registration form
      • Temporary food facility permit
      • Health department certification
      • Proof of insurance
      • Space Provided: 10x10 tent space


Craft Vendors - $100 ($50 for returning vendors)

  • Details: Great for artisans and crafters looking to sell their handmade goods, such as taco-themed crafts, jewelry, clothing, and more.
  • Requirements:
      • Completed registration form
      • Proof of business license (if applicable)
      • Product photos or descriptions
      • Space Provided: 10x10 booth space.


How to Apply:
  1. Select Your Vendor Type: Choose from Food Truck, Food Tent, or Craft Vendor options.
  2. Fill Out the Registration Form: Provide all necessary information about your business, products, and contact details.
  3. Upload Required Documents: Upload all required permits, certifications, proof of insurance, and any other necessary documentation to [email protected]
  4. Submit Payment: Complete your registration by submitting the appropriate fee based on your vendor type. Remember, returning vendors receive a 50% discount on each option!

“Tacos, Entertainment, & Fun For The Whole Community”

Vendor Agreement

Please read the following information carefully.

1. Event Details
  • Date & Time: Saturday, September 28th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Location: Upper Festival Grounds, Bear River Casino Resort
2. Vendor Types
  • Food Truck Vendors
  • Food Tent Vendors
  • Craft Vendors
3. Application and Payment
  • Application Deadline: July 31st, 2024
  • Fees:
    • Food Trucks: $200
    • Food Tents: $150
    • Craft Vendors: $100
    • Returning vendors receive a 50% discount on the above fees.
  • Payment Method: Payments should be made via card on our vendor payment website.
4. Space and Setup
  • Vendor Space Dimensions: 10x10 or 10x20
  • Setup Time: Begins at 8:00 AM on 09/28/2024. All vendors must be set up and ready by 10:30 AM for pre-event inspection.
  • Breakdown Time: Vendors may vacate the premises at 7:00 PM and no later than 8:00 PM.
  • Setup Requirements for Craft Vendors: Craft vendors are encouraged to sell taco-related items as part of their offerings.
5. Regulations and Compliance
  • Health and Safety: All food vendors must comply with current health and safety regulations.
  • Permits and Licenses: All vendors must provide a valid business or equivalent food truck license. Craft vendors must provide a business license.
  • Insurance: All vendors are required to provide proof of insurance.
6. Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Food Vendors:
    • Must provide enough food to last the entire event.
    • Menu limited to a maximum of 10 items.
    • Must include at least one unique taco on the menu.
    • Responsible for handling all monies and taxes.
    • May not vacate early even if sold out.
  • Craft Vendors:
    • Encouraged to sell taco-related items.
  • All Vendors:
    • Must bring their own power generators and water if needed.
    • Prices should be affordable to encourage guests to try multiple items.
    • Must participate in advertising the event immediately upon contract execution.
7. Event Marketing
  • Advertising: Both parties will handle advertising, including press releases, social media, direct mail, and local signage.
  • Vendor Promotion: Vendors are expected to share event information and promote it on their own channels.
8. Prohibited Items
  • Prohibited: Firearms, weapons, outside alcohol, or soft drinks/water (unless approved).
9. Liability
  • Vendors agree to release and hold harmless Bear River Casino Resort from any liability, injury, damage, theft, claims, or costs incurred during the event.
10. Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Flexibility: There is flexibility in the cancellation policy for unforeseen circumstances.
  • Refunds: Available under specific conditions, to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
