Stop Dirty Banks March
The four largest US banks have put more three trillion dollars into fossil fuels since 2016. Join our peaceful protest asking Wells Fargo and Chase banks to stop banking on climate disaster, using signs, songs, and symbolic credit card cutting. We'll meet at 11th and G streets in Arcata on the sidewalk outside Wells Fargo Bank. From there we’ll walk along G Street to 7th Street then to Chase Bank at the Jacoby Storehouse. We will not enter the banks or harass bank employees or customers. Our message is to bank bosses, not our neighbors.
