Music, theater and dancing all come together on New Year’s Eve at the Arcata Playhouse for a special performance event beginning at 9:00 p.m. and ringing in the New Year.
Speakeasy is written and performed by Jacqueline Dandeneau with Tim Randles, Tim Gray, Tim Theiss and Corey Goldman. Harkening back to the days of cocktail tables and candlelight, Speakeasy takes you on a journey of old jazz standards and new jazzy tales. After the show, push back the tables and get ready to dance the night away to the Conglomerates.
The Congolomerates will strike up the band and set fire to your dancing shoes on New Year's Eve. Complete with costume changes and theatrical antics the band will cross genres from Joe Strummer and Sharon Jones to the Black Eyed Peas and Louis Prima. This eclectic group of musicians includes but is not limited to Tim Randles, Tim Theiss, Tim Gray, Corey Goldman, Gregg Moore, Zuzka Sabata, Siena Nelson and Jacqueline Dandeneau. Speakeasy at 9pm and Conglomorates take over at 10:30 pm Tickets $20 general & $18 members $99 for table of four includes four drink tickets.
