Between 1884 and 1937, the company mill and lumber town of Falk thrived in what is now the Headwaters Forest Reserve. The town grew to 200 inhabitants and was an isolated community in the Elk River valley. Travel back in time with Bureau of Land Management Park Ranger Julie Clark and discover the past, present, and future of the tiny little town that held some very big stories. Email dana.f@clarkemuseum.org if you'd like a link to view virtually. Event courtesy of the Clarke, the Eureka Library, and the Humboldt County Historical Society!
