EPD Called for Anti-Mask Costco Shopper Caught on Video, LoCO reports

The Eureka Police Department escorted a woman from Costco in handcuffs after she apparently argued with employees asking her to wear a mask and reportedly grabbing a cell phone out of one of their hands in a Tuesday incident captured on video, Lost Coast Outpost reports.
Similar incidents have taken place across the nation despite scientific evidence that mask use helps prevent the transmission of the potentially deadly COVID-19 virus and more recently that is helps shield the wearer as well.
Meanwhile, COVID cases continue to spike across the nation, including in Humboldt County, with health officials urging vigilance.
