JIC: "Bars and Dine-In Restaurant Closures Remain in Effect"

The Humboldt County Joint Information Center would like to remind residents that all bar and dine-in restaurant closures are still in effect throughout the county per state orders.

According to a release, the JIC has received multiple calls regarding "false texts and news reports announcing the reopening of bars and dine-in restaurants," and says that these reports are incorrect.

All bars are closed and dine-in restaurants, wineries and tasting rooms, movie theaters, family entertainment centers such as bowling alleys, mini golf and arcades, zoos and museums and card rooms are allowed to operate outdoors only.

July 24, 2020 - Bars and Dine-in Restaurant Closures Remain in Effect
The Humboldt County Joint Information Center has received multiple calls about false texts and news reports announcing the reopening of bars and dine-in restaurants. These reports are incorrect. A statewide closure of these facilities remains in effect per state orders.

All bars are to remain closed, and the following sectors are allowed to operate outdoors only:

Dine-in restaurants
Wineries and tasting rooms
Movie theaters
Family entertainment centers (for example: bowling alleys, miniature golf, batting cages and arcades)
Zoos and museums
Cardrooms.
