Posted By on Sun, Jun 14, 2020 at 10:15 AM

This morning, about 7:50, two white male adults possibly in their twenties wearing “blue and white hoodies” robbed the Blue Lake Patriot station on Blue Lake Boulevard, according to scanner traffic. The two fled the scene on foot possibly up the hill toward State Route 299.

However, later, one hoodie and a bandanna believed to have been used to cover one of the robbers’ faces were found discarded on Davis Street in the opposite direction. Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies and California Highway Patrol Officers searched the area.

We’ve requested more information from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.

Please remember that information gathered from initial reports is subject to revision as more facts become available.
