The California Highway Patrol reported a major uptick in calls for response during the storm. As of 10:30 p.m., CHP dispatch had more than 360 calls compared to 130 the day before.Showers continue to move through Northwest California. Hail is mixing in with some of the stronger showers and snow continues to fall in the higher elevations. Conditions will gradually improve through the day with showers diminishing this evening.
