Final Election Night Report Update: A Tight Race in Trinidad, Marks Well Ahead For the Harbor District

FINAL ELECTION NIGHT REPORT:

There were no changes in the final election report for the Ferndale and Rio Dell races but the council contest in Trinidad is providing to be a tight one. Meanwhile, Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District numbers show incumbent Richard Marks maintaining his heathy lead and the McKinleyville Community Services District narrows just a bit.

Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District
Marian Brady: 37.55 percent
Richard Marks: 62.30 percent

McKinleyville Community Service District: Three seats
David R. Couch: 26.96 percent
Dennis Mayo: 27.54 percent
Erik "Yahmo Ahqha" Rydberg: 17.10 percent
George A. Wheeler: 26.88 percent

Trinidad City Council (Three seats)
James H. Baker: 20.90 percent
Tom Davies: 20.49 percent
Susan Rotwein: 22.54 percent
Brett D. Gregory: 8.61 percent
E. Dwight Miller: 20.08 percent
Michael J. Morgan: 5.74 percent

SECOND UPDATE:

There were no changes in the third election report for Trinidad results but the council contest in Rio Dell and two-person race to become Ferndale’s mayor are becoming clearer. Meanwhile, Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District numbers show incumbent Richard Marks continues his lead and the McKinleyville Community Services District appears headed for closure.

Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District
Marian Brady: 38.08 percent
Richard Marks: 61.81 percent

McKinleyville Community Service District: Three seats
David R. Couch: 27.65 percent
Dennis Mayo: 27.81 percent
Erik "Yahmo Ahqha" Rydberg: 15.77 percent
George A. Wheeler: 27.27 percent

Ferndale City Mayor
Steve Nunes: 29.31 percent
Michael Sweeney: 70.02 percent

Rio Dell City Council: Three seats
Debra L. Garnes: 22.35 percent
John B. McManus: 13.78 percent
Bryan Richter: 30.42 percent
Julie Woodall: 31.40 percent

UPDATE:
There were no changes in the second election results report of the night for city council races in Rio Dell, Ferndale and Trinidad, but new numbers for the Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District show incumbent Richard Marks pulling well ahead of his challenger and the McKinleyville Community Services District shoring up.
