UPDATE:
The
Arcata Police Department has identified Arcata resident Brandon Matthew Watson, 27, as a suspect in the fatal stabbing of Peter Samuel Triantos on Thursday. Watson remains at-large and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
PREVIOUS:
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who was fatally stabbed in Arcata as Peter Samuel Triantos. He was 26.
Triantos, a native of Alabama who was living in Eureka, was
found severely injured near the intersection of H and Ninth streets in Arcata at about 1:40 a.m. Thursday. He died after being taken to Mad River Community Hospital.
Triantos was able to give a brief statement to police before he died, according to a
Times-Standard report. No arrests in his death have been announced.

The Humboldt County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a homicide occurring in Arcata on Oct. 25, 2018 as that of 26-year-old Peter Samuel Triantos. Triantos is an Alabama native, who was residing in Eureka at the time of his death.
Trianto’s autopsy has been scheduled for Oct. 27, 2018.
