Stand for the Redwoods

Celebrate 100 years of redwoods conservation and the 50th anniversary of Redwood National Park at Stand for the Redwoods, Sunday, Oct. 7 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Orick Mill Site, 545 Bald Hills Road (free). The family-friendly event features activities, a beer garden, entertainment and music by Monophonics, Marty O'Reilly and the Old Soul Orchestra, and Saritah.
