The 122nd annual Humboldt County Fair's 10-day run of old-fashioned community fun starts this week. From Thursday, Aug. 16 to Sunday, Aug. 26, the Humboldt County Fairgrounds will be open noon to 10 p.m. with all your favorites at this end-of-summer ritual: the carnival, horse racing, exhibits, stunts, shows, food, music and more ($10, $7 seniors, $5 kids, $35 carnival bracelet).
