On Parade in Sunny Blue Lake (Slideshow)

The 51st annual Annie & Mary Day Celebration kicked off Sunday morning in Blue Lake with the usual parade (led by reenactors in the roles of Annie and Mary (plus Larry), lots of firetrucks, Dell'Arte performers, samba dancers and lots of horseback riders. Mandy Mager, Blue Lake city manager, was named grand marshal of the parade.
After the "Localmotion" themed parade had moved on past the Bill Nessler Car Show and food vendors along the parade route​​, most attendees moved on to Perigot Park for the Humboldt Folklife Festival's live music lineup, barbeque, arts and craft vendors and children's activities.
