Tonight's Setlist: Old Friends, Young Voices

Trinidadians, take note: The Westhaven Center for the Arts looks to be hopping this weekend.
Tonight at 7 p.m., the RLA Trio (Tim Randles, Mike LaBolle and Bobby Amirkhan) performs with guest singer Claire Bent , reputed to be "the finest young jazz singer in town." Cover is $5 to $10 sliding scale.
On Saturday night, former local boy Dave Fleschner and Alan Hager recreate the magic of last year's sold-out show with just a piano, guitar and oodles of talent. Reservations recommended. Tickets are $12 WCA members, $15 general.
Another former-Humboldtian returns for an evening of song, story and collaboration.
Josephine Johnson joins Joanne Rand for an evening boasting not only lovely and earnest singer-songwriteriness, but fresh soup, bread, beer, wine, coffee, tea and "general conviviality."
Doors open at 7 p.m. Music starts at 8 p.m. Suggested donation is $10 to $15 sliding scale. It's a house party — contact crib1251@gmail.com or call 499-8516 for more information.
