FACT: Besides being a so-called “scientist” — a Darwin-loving “geneticist,” no less — Humboldt State University President Rollin Richmond is an agent of the State of California and Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Also, he hates marijuana.
How sweet, then, that he and the liberal flock he leads up there on the hill are finally getting their comeuppance! As I type these words Tuesday evening, the Humboldt State Academic Senate is meeting to decide which of its academic programs will be erased from the curriculum forever, starting with this semester. Right now, it looks like the first of the propaganda programs to be erased will be minor degrees in “California Studies” (big deal) and “International Relations” (who cares). But there are even bigger fish on the table — whole programs like “geology” and “theater arts” and “business administration” could soon join their fellows in the dustbin! The Senate’s final vote on this is slated for April 6.
California government is broke beyond repair, thank goodness, and so government doesn’t get to waste so much of our money paying for the “education” (brainwashing) of other people’s children. Let’s teach them ourselves, instead — teach them how to stand on their own two feet! Wake up, sheeple! Stop the madness!

Do I sense satire slipping in-and-out of this post like a snake searching for it’s prey?

It’s too bad you don’t see how rural schools, hospitals and tribal lands will benefit from additional broadband infrastructure. There are still many areas of Humboldt and Del Norte county that remain without internet or phone service. You should do some more research on what this “evil fiber line” will provide before you make generalized assumptions of it’s purpose.

Psst, Anon, Dave sensed satire correctly. I do believe Hank leans lightly towards them evil big city sins of broadband etc.
Me, too.
