It should be noted that the airplane landing strip at the site is strictly private property; no one may land there without previous written permission from the owners.
“Reinventing Scotia,” our Nov. 26 cover story, mistakenly identified the Mendocino Redwood Company as one of the bankrupt Pacific Lumber Company’s major creditors; in fact, the major creditor was MRC’s eventual partner, Marathon Capital. The Journal regrets the error.
