Correction
(Aug. 6, 2009) Last week’s story on the Northcoast Environmental Center’s financial travails, “The NEC’s Subprime Mortgage,” incorrectly identified Don Tuttle as a former Humboldt County public works director. In fact, Tuttle was deputy director of that department, not the director.
The Journal regrets the error.
