HLO KIDCO SUMMER SESSION
Description: Musical theater classes teaching vocal technique, dance and acting skills. Session culminates in a performance.
Ages: 5-12.
When: 9-10 a.m. (ages 5-8), 10:15-11:30 a.m. (ages 9-12). July 6-16.

Cost: $75 (ages 5-8), $95 (ages 9-12).

DELL’ARTE SUMMER ACADEMY
Description: Intensive, fun training in physical theater. Classes include Legendary Play Making, Clowning for Kids, Dynamic Improvisation, Circus Circus, Vaudeville, Serious and Stand-up and Sketch Comedy.
Ages: 7-19, depending on program.
When: 9 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Mon.-Fri., July 27-Aug. 7.
Where: Arcata Elementary School.

Description: Week of juggling, clowning, acrobatics and circus fun.
Ages: 8-12 and 13-17.

FERNDALE REPERTORY THEATRE
Description: Ages 6-11, will work with Julie Douglas and Nick Trotter for “Come Play with Us,” which focuses on using games and a sense of play in creating life onstage. Ages 12-17, will work with Nick and Julie for “Exploring the Masters,” which focuses on improvisation and scene study work.
Ages: 6-17.
When: 9 a.m.-noon (ages 6-11) and 1-4 p.m. (ages 12-17) Tues.-Thurs. June 23-July 11.
Where: The Firemen’s Pavilion, Ferndale.

INSTANTANEOUS THEATER
Description: Two-week intensive musical theater workshop for teens. No experience necessary.
Ages: 13-18 (motivated 12 yr. olds welcome).
