FUN PLAY CENTER
Description: Safe place for families to meet while offering kids their first play experience.

REDWOOD AND RIVERS KIDS CAMP
Description: River activities supervised by trained, certified instructors. Four days of rafting and structured activities focusing on teamwork, leadership, outdoor skills and wilderness safety.
Ages: 11-17.
When: July 13-16.

Cost: $400 includes all meals, equipment, camping and river fees.

LOST COAST CAMP
Description: Ropes challenge course, cooperative games, swimming and backpacking. Arts and crafts time. Costume Party. Learn self-esteem, independence and group living skills. Also, a weeklong backpacking trip for teens.
Ages: 5-15 depending on the session.
When: Ranch and Wild Camp (ages 8-11) July 8-14; Performing Arts Camp (ages 11-13) July 16-25; Jr. Day Camp (ages 5-7) July 18-22; Teen Back Pack Trip (ages 13-15) July 28-Aug. 5.
Where: Petrolia. Pickups available in northern and southern Humboldt.
Cost: Varies per session. Many scholarships available.

REDWOOD PARK DAY CAMP
Description: Games, art, cooking, fieldtrips, swimming and more.
Ages: 5-12.
When: Full day 9 a.m.-5 p.m. or half day 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mon.-Fri., June 15-Aug. 14.
Where: Redwood Park Lodge.
Cost: $120 per week/$85 per week for half day. (Add $10 for non-resident.)

SUMMER FUN AND KIDDIE KAMP (FORTUNA)
Description: Skating, movies, water day, field trips, games, arts and crafts and much more.
Ages: Summer Fun for graduating 1st through graduating 8th graders and Kiddie Kamp for ages 4-graduating kindergartners.
When: 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Mon.-Fri., June 15-Aug. 21.
Where: Rohner Park, Fortuna
Cost: $90/week, $20/day, $15/half day (7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 12:30-5:30 p.m.). Discounts for multiple sessions, siblings.

BLUE LAKE RECREATION
Description: Summer day camp includes arts and crafts, sports, games, theater, nature hikes, cooking, roller skating and field trips.
Ages: 5-13.
When: 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mon.-Fri., June 15- July 31. Extended care available: 8-9:30 a.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m. Additional charges apply.
Where: Prasch Hall, Perigot Park, Blue Lake.
Cost: $60 per week/$75 non-resident, $200 for seven weeks/$225 non-resident.
