(April 9, 2009) Rich and Creamy
Editor:
Marcy Burstiner’s praise for The Ferndale Enterprise’s coverage of the Humboldt Creamery story was well deserved (“Media Maven,” April 2).
I enjoy reading Ms. Burstiner’s column and appreciate her insights. She only read the Enterprise’s stories because the editor had put them online, which is unfortunate since it is through subscriptions and advertisers that newspapers survive.
I know that schools are on tight budgets, and therefore I would like to send the Media Maven a subscription to The Ferndale Enterprise so that she and her students can read this excellent local newspaper every week.
