Miscommunication between reporter and source led to an inaccurate characterization of one business's attitudes toward the Bayshore Mall's Calvary Chapel Church in last week's cover story ("Mall Town," Sept. 24).
As it turns out, the person Heidi Walters interviewed at Gianni For Men about the church was not a "co-owner" of the store, as he had represented. The actual owner of Gianni — Omeed Mojadedi — wishes it to be known that he has no issues with the church being in the mall.

once more the ncj purposely characterizes and yes even lies to promulgate its partisan views of rejecting and making fun of all conservative, religious, and traditional views in Humboldt Society. Journalism is an endangered species at ncj. well done.
