Wildlife Lecture

Alan Peterson will present on “Dusk Wildlife at the Arcata Marsh” on Friday, March 17. This free public lecture, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center, is sponsored by Friends of the Arcata Marsh. The speaker studied film at California College of the Arts and has been documenting wildlife and ecology on the Redwood Coast for several years. His work has been featured by the BBC, PBS, National Geographic, the Nature Conservancy, the Peregrine Fund, and local independent productions. Alan was introduced to birding at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary after moving to Humboldt County in 2010, which has remained one of his favorite spots for wildlife watching by Humboldt Bay.
