The Sound of Music

Music Arts, a DreamMaker project of The Ink People, presents The Sound of Music. This full length musical production runs July 17th -19th at the Arkley Center for the Performing Arts with four performances. Project staging and coordination by Daphne Endert and musical direction by Robert Kieber and Stacy Young. Music by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, Book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, Suggested by "The Trapp Family Singers" by Maria Augusta Trapp. This extravagant live production is a collaboration of both local and guest performers, including youth performers from Music Arts, members of The McKinleyville Community Choir, as well as guest performers from the Stockton Civic Theater. Full stage sets and all costumes have been brought in from all over the United States to compliment the beautiful Arkley Theater.
