Low Tide Lesson
Join Friends of the Dunes and retired HSU Biology Professor Dr. John DeMartini for an early morning low tide lesson in the intertidal habitats of Humboldt Bay, on Sunday June 23, from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Please wear boots or shoes that can get wet, and bring a fishing license if you have one. Meet at the Samoa Boat Launch County Park off of Hwy 255 in Samoa. Access to this intertidal zone requires climbing over rip rap boulders. R.S.V.P. required, please call (707) 444-1397.
