Living History Day

Part of our Admission Free Week sponsored by Humboldt Area Foundation, Living History Day is a chance to experience a glimmer of Humboldt County history. Come down and learn what it was like to be stationed at Fort Humboldt in the mid-19th century. There will be a hand-quilting demonstration, with opportunities for hands-on learning. We will have a docent on hand to lead interpretive tours throughout the museum. Author Lin Glen will also be here signing copies of her new book Sofie and Daniel Get Ready for Earthquakes, which contains information related to preparation for earthquake and tsunami events.
