Humboldt Bay Harbor Working Group (HBHWG) announces a presentation about “Agriculture Shipped from Humboldt,” by William Helwer-Carlson, Retired Valley Rice Farmer, USDA - Entomologists & Agricultural Consultant. Join us for a presentation reviewing agricultural production from Eugene, Oregon south thru Northern California to approximately Hwy 20. This review will demonstrate possibilities in export of agriculture and its possible relationship to the Port of Humboldt Bay. Come enjoy a “no-host” lunch with friends and listen to a brief presentation about “Agriculture Shipped from Humboldt” at the Samoa Cookhouse, Wednesday, February 24, 2016, from noon to 1:30 p.m. BBQ Ribs is the main course for $15.00 or you may chose soup of the day and salad for $11.00.
