Exactly the Problem

Refusal to accept paid advertising? After reading the recent imbroglio about the scheduled Buju Banton performance, I wonder where this ends? (See “Town Dandy,” Oct. 15)

If the Journal would refuse my paid advertisement dollars because of a song I recorded at 15, then it should look at some of its other potential sources of revenue. If the Balloon Track contains dioxins, then in theory the NCJ could be advocating potential birth defects and should decline those dollars as well. If another business sells some indoor lighting equipment that winds up burning down a house, then this paper is possibly advocating arson. If a person dines at one of the local taco trucks and became ill ... then should all taco trucks should be shunned?
