Karen Angel provides a Powerpoint presentation entitled “Venezuelan Botanicals and Angel Falls” with many of the photographs taken by members of the 2012 “Tribute to Jimmie Angel” expedition to Angel Falls. Angel will show botanical drawings from Pixar Animation Studio’s 2009 Academy Award winning movie UP and the botanicals that were the models for the Pixar artists. Angel Falls was the model for UP’s Paradise Falls as were the surrounding tepuis and flora.
