Citizen’s Law Enforcement Liaison Committee

When: Third Wednesday of every month, 4 p.m.
Price: Free
The Citizen’s Law Enforcement Liaison Committee (CLELC), formed by the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors to assist the public with issues related to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, invites you to attend our meetings, which are held the third Wednesday of each month in Conference Room A in the Humboldt County Court House. It is comprised of seven representatives: one from each Supervisorial District and one appointment each from the Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff Associations. Its goal is to assist the public in gaining a better understanding of the policies and procedures of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). The committee will listen to items brought to them and attempt to both answer questions and give explanations of policies. If you have a complaint, please go to the HCSO and fill out the necessary paperwork for us to assist you. If you are interested in becoming part of the team, we have one community position open. Please contact Tracy D’Amico at the Board of Supervisors for an application form. Call or email Tracy at 707-476-2390 or You can access CLELC through the Humboldt County Web Site, The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, and through their message phone line number 707-441-3056.
