A Commie Writes

I have a few points I'd like to share with you and your readers.

First, I'd like to thank you for running a rather fair, unbiased piece on the Communist Party USA (Humboldt County). Others' input on, and response to, said article has been interesting, informative and sometimes uninformative or misinformed.

While it is true that we in the U.S. have a republican form of government it has seldom minority views, rights and protection to those of need. A great pearl can be found now and again when the republican Constitution is amended. I see the U.S. Constitution not as a died-in-the-wool, stagnant article but as a living, changing and progressive code. An ancestral cousin of mine from New Hampshire — John Langdon — put his signature on it on Sept. 17, 1787.

Socialist Democracy is only a step toward true Communism. Mankind has not evolved enough to attain the end goal.

While misinformation abounds about the beginnings of true and righteous Communist thought and its connection to the most ancient "Illuminati," rest assured its program and eventual progress is afe within the confines of tested scientific method and universal want for freedom and fairness and justice.
