Re: “The Last Days of the Budget Motel

I was one of the last people to leave i have 4 kids 3months 2 yrs 7 yrs and 10 yrs old it was indeed gross there but some of us living there would fix up are room are selfs i seen one person replace the flooring its self, so yess we get 1600$ but with most rooms in town are 100+$ a night and lots that cant accomidate a family of our size is very hard im on my last dollar and last few nights i have no idea where me and my kids are going to go the shelters either dont have room or cant accomidate us because the size of our family i had to give my sons dog up because we had no where to keep him anymore we cant get into a apt because of us having a eviction from almost 10yrs back when i was 19 and struggling to pay rent in sonoma county so my question now what are the people that will have to live on the streets do im worrie my children. Will be taken because im homeless we have no family all i have is my kids i just wish that there would have been at least more time for people to figure out where to go but 72 hrs to pack and find a home is almost impossible especially when u have 4 kids and 2 that go to school and one with learning disabilities what are we to do now everyone at the moment of leaving gates seemed concerned but 24 hrs later we were forgotten
