@Djromero. Jeff Joseph was not convicted by a jury, he also was never convicted of or even charged with sales to a minor. It was all bs to try to and make the public against medicinal marijuana. What Jeff was convicted of and he never even plead guilty to was 2 counts of marijuana sales, and 2 counts of money laundering. On these charges he did not even enter a plea of guilty, he plead no contest. Of course he was selling marijuana, he operated a marijuana dispensary. And in the state of California this is and was legal, he broke no law there. And on the money laundering it was because he accepted cash as a payment for the marijuana. Jeff did nothing wrong, the DEA wanted to shut down Californias medicinal marijuana stores and Jeff was one of the unfortunate ones who the feds used to scare people. And if you say oh well if he wasnt guilty he should not have plead no contest, he should ha e went to trial. Well its easy to say that when the feds are not threatening you with fifteen years if you lose. He had to plead no contest the feds dont lose they have too much money so he took the deal. Jeff Joseph was a good man who after seeing the benefits that medical marijuana provided his dying father decided he wanted to try to bring some relief to other sick people who needed relief. So to me this sums the whole situation up perfectly it goes like this: Alice realized the court room; with the icons of a justice system – a judge, jury, witnesses – was really a sham that mocks a legitimate legal process. To confirm her realization the King said after the meaningless secret poetry evidence, that it was “the most important piece of evidence” and “Let the jury consider their verdict.” The Queen retorts “No, no! Sentence first; verdict afterwards.”
Jeff never ran a rogue marijuana store. Jeff is my cousin and he had a medical marijuana collective in culver city that was legal. He is just one of the many that the federal government harassed about the whole medicinal marijuana thing. He never sold marijuana to anyone who was not legally allowed to have it. Here is an interview with him after the DEA raided his legal business and shot his dog. Jeff Joseph - Organica Medical Cannabis Collective. http://youtu.be/AtYK2qKsHRg
