Near by Utah? Now there is an idea...
That, as you say "creeps me out". Honest Engine? Offensive to whom? Indians? American or Eastern? The fear of frivolous law suits as well as listening to the sniveling drivel emanating from the upturned noses of the PC set is more like the reason for Mr, Neely's decision. Sad, very sad.
A time honored local business being subjected to changing it's good, descriptive name, with no puns intended (it's spelled engine, not injun), with no malice directed toward anyone, all in the misguided interests of political correctness.
Why not force the name change of the Bayshore Mall to the Eyesore Mall while you are at this? That place is insulting enough, most people despise the place, as it has caused more harm to the area then good, yet no action has been taken or ever proposed! Sound preposterous? This whole thing, in my opinion is!
As the old bumper sticker, once prevalently seen stated,
"political correctness is neither".
To all the thin skins, get over it.
Thank you Leon, for imparting your wisdom to us all.
Rest in peace my friend.
