If only there was a daily newspaper in our area that had a sports section ... Man! This would be a perfect story for that media! Ah, well. Guess I'll have to depend on the alt weekly for my big local sports info (not a knock on you, because this was actually well written and researched).
Such a great collection of stories. This is a huge part of our past in Humboldt and you're doing good work to bring it to life.

@A Guy ... Remember what happened to the Eureka Reporter ... Came in hot with superior equipment and in a lot of ways a better product than the TS. If KRCR wants to stick, they need to convince us that they're PART of this community and invested in it. That they don't exist solely to out-do KIEM.
City attorney who doesn't lie to dying council members czar? Keep the city manager for more than 2 weeks czar. A drilling through Pine Hill czar. Oh, and an entrance sign to Eureka czar. Funded thru Measure Q.
This is the great kind of in-depth reporting and analysis you get from the Journal that you don't get anywhere else. Awesome.
