Can someone define "irie vibes" to me? #7 is being accused of 1) not having spirit of reggae or the community and is lacking aforementioned "irie vibes" 2) that the contest is rigged, and even one commenter stated that they think that #7 is somehow in cahoots with the voting staff of the NCJ. 3) that #7 has made negative comments about other contestants. Since you guys got to enjoy your 2 to 4 paragraph complaints, I will not complain or say anything negative. 1) the rules clearly stated the parameters of the contest in which the only two rules were wearing the provided mask and making a video no longer than 30 seconds long, the was no previously stated rules on level of "irie vibes" nor was there mention on it representing the reggae community or spirit. 2) I#7 has no affiliation with NCJ or their constituents and blindly accusing foul play is not very representitave of the "irie vibes" you seem to covet. Furthermore, if you look at the votes, there are a large majority of people voting multiple times. #7 did not attempt this. Also, a large amount of votes were for two videos in the same vote, which I can only assume you overlooked because that technically is not a full vote. Also, take a gander at the YouTube views all the videos have and you will see #7 unquestionably won in that respect. 3) what comment did #7 say against anybody this year? The thoughts and opinions of voters belong to only them and videos cannot be penalized for NCJ readers comments. One could look at the voting page and notice several contributors complaining about #7 and saying no repeat winners, those are also negative comments. This contest is to make an entertaining video. For the second year in a row the winning video is being called out for content and lack of "irie vibes," which is unfair because the crew behind it obviously tried hard and applied humor to a humorous competition. I thank all for participating, the contest should be fun, there is no conspiracy, this isn't voting for president.
So does the north coast journal filter the votes? Tons of votes from the same people, also half votes for two videos...
Can somebody explain why there is ten #3 and #6 votes? That is not fair, you get one vote. those cant both be counted or get a half vote. #7 is my one vote. Jah bless

Cannot wait to go to reggae, sorry for going a bit different direction with video, wanted to push the boundaries and create an open dialogue amongst our community to bring everyone closer. This video is really about togetherness.
Thank you so much for all of the comments both good and bad, hoped everyone enjoyed my moves.
Hey, here is an end to the "innapropriate" debate. It was found in another case of a man wearing a thong in front of a school while riding a scooter and having on a cape. People tried to get him arrested , but according to police, he was not commiting a crime... and that was in front of a school... this is a case of a video, which isn't in front of children involving a thong... so would love to hear rebuttals from the "innapropriate" camp... enjoy this link from the Huffington Post. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/3341939
Really a baby video? how original. Production value of 7 makes it win alone
