Wondering, since you are so knowledgeable about the thimbleberry plant, if you could shed some light on why my plant berries start to mature then dry up and die. Over the years my thimbleberry plant has thrived and spread to a beautiful patch of green. I've harvested about 3 berries in ten years. I brought it down from the UP of Michigan to the thumb. Berries are partially formed and some are even deformed. Is something lacking?
