Oh, this is sad news. The Cornucopia was my elderly brothers resource for classical music, and Mr. Berliner would always call me to say that Tony's CD had arrived. Such a unique little store and such a unique and interesting man. He will be missed.
Great, Chris! Now the rest of you young folks replace that crazy City Council!
That last paragraph says it all. Board of Supes not much different. I'll never forget election season when attending a Democratic Central Committee meeting, I actually felt out of place as meeting almost dominated by Virginia and what's her name, oh yeah, "the Brady Bunch" wearing Rex Bohn sweatshirts! What? We definitely need new blood. No, we've had enough of that, we need new life in the humanist sector.
Since King Rob has already described the purpose of this meeting, "specifically what policies and programs can be CUT......etc.", is there any real point in "us" coming? It sounds like we are not invited.
These people are such brazen liars!Theyve got the City Council and the Bored of Stoops so loaded. They know, the election proved it;there are not enough of us to fight them. They have a not so discreetly purchased mandate!
What we really need is an influx of youth. We need about a thousand Ryans.
And Rhiannas too.all the local progressives are ancient, including me.
Theres nothing left to say;Stanley said it all.
And unfortunately, th Eureka City Council has only Linda Atkins in the Mark Lovelace role.
Progressive Democrats? The few I see at meetings are mostly older than dirt like me.
