Re: “Former Sheriff's Sgt. Charged with On-Duty Rape

I am surprised this shitbag is still alive. I would think that family members of the victims would have manned up to bury this POS.
If not them, then fellow Sheriffs should have manned up and planted his ass in the dirt, if for no other reason than it reflects on them negatively.

I for one would not only condone such actions, but would not hold such actions against them in a criminal court. It goes without saying I'd not allow his family or anyone else to sue in civil court.

If one of the victims was my family, there would be no criminal trial. Especially with close to a year to make arrangements.

Re: “UPDATE: Coroner Releases Names of Four Dead in State Route 36 crash

My heart goes out to the as of yet unnamed victims, their family and friends.

I hope booze wasn't an issue.

No matter what, this is a serious tragedy.

Re: “Police and Prison Excess

That why we should NEVER, EVER, surrender our weapons, voluntarily or not.
How do we shoot back to defend ourselves w/o our guns?

Self defense is self defense, whether shooting at Joe Citizen or a uniformed member of your local PD or Sheriffs office.

Biggest difference is not having to take head shots on Joe Citizen due to him wearing a vest. Until they protect the head, it is an easy target.

Just saying...

Re: “Humboldt County Sheriff's Officer Fired After Alleged Assault

It never ceases to amaze me at the inability of these dirty, corrupt cops or correctional officers to turn up dead too?
If they need help brainstorming for suggestions...
...I've got answers. ;-)
