Greetings Mitch i don't you understand patois or JA culture . So i am not gonna even give you an elaborate response.
In response to what does it all mean. That is an old Beenie man tune you were referring too. Where is the Capleton murder music that you feel he has in his music catalog? There is none. end of discussion.
Most of these comments on here against Capleton is extreme. He is a clean artiste. He has never suggested murder to any person group whether gay or straight. When we rastas say fiyah bun it means spiritually purge that person to do right. Capleton feels the same way 80% of the Jamaican and African continent feels. That the homosexual lifestyle is not natural and gay marriage is unacceptable . If you are gay you don't like his musical content don't support him . But these gay activists are still being an extreme nusicance and nazi like behavior in cancelling these shows. Which is forcing the promoter to go to extreme measures to pull off the show.
Greetings. Everyone on this post. I want to say first off that i have massive respect for the homosexual community here in humboldt and worldwide. Bounty Killa is a contemporary and living legend in dancehall music. He is known to bring up other talented artist in Jamaica like Mavado, Wayne Marshall, and elephant man. I have seen bounty before here in the states and he has never sung a homophobic tune! I just feel that protesting would have been more productive. But to totally censor an artiste of any music genre is a disgrace to the fundamentals of free speech in the American constitution.
I feel so frustrated by this whole gay issue. I am not homophobic at all. But you have to realize being a homo or lesbian is a crime a Jamaica they call it sodomy down in Jamaica. I personally have been blessed to see buju on numerous occasions and he has not sung boom bye in over four years. Also when i saw him the times that he didn't perform that tune some members in the audience were requesting that song. It was a number one hit for him it also has over a million views on you tube. So are people homophobic if they like that song? Or is buju homphobic when he sing s that tune live. No. that tune was written and still is for child molestors and perverts. Besides. don't we live in America where there is free speech? Buju should have every right to perform anywhere in the states! Protesting the show would have been fair. But to force Carol Bruno and the nocturnum to cancel a show from a reggae dancehall icon is downright cruel and unjust. Yes there needs to be more dialouge on both sides. But once again that was a cruel move!
