Re: “Monstrous Acts

Yes, very sad, and very disturbing for all involved, close or even just an acquaintance. Hopefully, someone is able to voice their opinion on how that was handled. Unfortunately, we may never know how/why Jim was in the position that he was, and will only be able to speculate. In my opinion, Jim must have been overtaken at his house, by gun point, and forced to drive Wickenburg. The video tape didn't really indicate whether or not Jim was in distress. He may very well have been (in distress), but was doing what he needed to in order to stay alive. There just doesn't seem to be any other explanation for Jim leaving behind all those items. And, the reason for that animal to take Jim up there was to buy him more time to carry out his other horrific crime. Thank God for that GPS device, at least this gave closure to all who knew and loved Jim. You might want to contact the proper authorities about the status on this "manifest". And, thank you so much for your responses to my comments, it really does help to be able talk about it.

Re: “Monstrous Acts

A month ago, authorities told very few people that Jim's body was found dismembered and an autopsy would have to be done to confirm. That information was not being shared with the media at that time. Now we hear the latest from authorities, that his body has been found just this past Thursday, with no mention of dismemberment. I find this so completely absurd how stories are so easily exaggerated.

Has any of the Hawkins family heard what may have happen to James?
