All I know is that when my daughter was 3 years old I hesitated to push her stroller down Fairfield St, let alone sit on a corner for EIGHT MONTHS with her. Come on people!!----I'll bet those kids are jack in the box born and raised and think begging is ok--mommy and daddy do it! Shouldn't they have begun in Head Start by now anyway?Good job Heidi Waters-Did they hit you up for $$ afterwards, though?
I live about three blocks away and I saw the flames-this guy is past the line of scary crazy-this would qualify as dangerous crazy- what if there had been a propane tank or a few gas cans strewn about? The kids from EHS walk this route to and from school Come on epd--quit bugging the stoners and take care of a serious threat!!!
Boy howdy--y'all have to be the dumbest smart people I know. Concerning the ''town downer motel'' story ,here's a new idea--- give it to the kids!! Ever hear of the Raven project? Or how about Empire squared? Put out a offer for all teen/young adults, 11-21 yrs old to submit THEIR ideas of what should be done with all of that wonderfully available space!! Can you imagine- Off the top of my head I can see an after school safe place with rooms for art, music, dance, spoken word, clothing exchange, resource library, garden, skateboard/bike/scooter shop, counciling, etc.etc.. Obviously the adults are clueless, so lets give the kids in this city something constructive and real to focus on,something that the next generation can show their kids with pride-''look what we did with this neighborhood- with enough time, respect, and positive energy, maybe we can...'' Now that is a project I would support 100%!
WOW--on the internet y'all amost look good enough to share a jagerbomb with!! just kidding --ever try to split a shot 3 ways-- its like lighting a match baaad luck. Oh- which is my point- how about a contest, ok ,where we have your dialoge but let the readers decide the location-(hello kitty hell, blues by the bay, 8th grade gym,etc..) and the winner gets to shave wills head- im tired of x-box and its somthin'new...
