Re: “Top 10 Stories of 2010

"You can quibble with the specifics of this narrative, and plenty have, including this paper (see Cristina Bauss’ two-part exploration of the issue — “Roads and Redwoods,” April 8 & 15)." Hank, do you mean Cristina Bias's biased article that contained misquotes, mis-representations and lack of project opposition information? The article that completely ignores the SRG coalition and Intertribal's stance against the project? Was/Is Cristina ignorant of these facts or simply just a racist?

Re: “HSU Professor Killed Near Willits

I'm so sad to hear this tragic news. Professor Golden was my Chemistry 110 teacher back in 1999. I was so afraid of chemistry after a bad experience with a very hard teacher at City College of San Francisco. Professor Golden made chemistry fun and made you laugh out loud during his lectures. I never thought I could actually look forward to chemistry before experiencing his teaching style! My prayers go out to his family and friends. We will all miss him terribly.

Peace and Love, Lia

Re: “Roads and Redwoods

Funny, no mention of the Mexican goat milk issue with Cypress Grove? All this talk about getting their product out, and no talk about where their milk comes from? It's a far drive up here from the border. Funny also, that the max weight for any truck is 80,000 lbs, no matter how long it is. Liquid loads such as Mexican Goat Milk will still be the same size, no matter how long the truck is. Sun Valley is the only business really to benefit, flowers are light weight/high volume.

Re: “Howdy, Sheriff

They both look like pigs. I wonder what their diet is like, if it includes a lot of pork products and donuts. I'm going to vote for the one that looks like "Porky".
