My compliments to Bob Doran for a excellent article complete with a nice cover collage on local postcard collecting even though he may have over stressed one sticky point. Thanks to those of you who have given positive comments on my hobby and to those quick to jump to conclusions I ask you to please visit Steve Lazarr's website http://thehumboldtproject.org/ and tell me if it is ready for prime time or is it still in the very early stage. As I told Steve he should contact me when he has all his cards, Dr Irvine's cards and another collectors cards posted that he says he has commitments from and I should have my collection organized for quick viewing at that time. It is my understanding that Steve's goal is to use these historic photo postcards for planning purposes within the Humboldt County Planning Department... Leon Warmuth
