With community gardens we get beauty, healthy food choices, cultural preservation, improved air quality, greater safety, a place conversation and learning, livability and a sense of neighborliness for our cities. The things Jen has experienced have never been a part of the over one hundred community gardens I have visited and know about. Community Gardens are well tended and loved and provide necessary access for people to grow their own food.
