Hodgson has hired an editor in chief from outside our community who asures us that "I need to learn a little more before I can write anything intelligent." What? An editor in chief should have a decade or so of experience with our issues. Surely, a local editor could have filled this job--and hit the ground running.
Sorry, but Hodgson hired outside our community, thus demonstrating her contempt for us. We should return the favor.
