Mr. Parker has suffered the loss of a child at the hands of another. Nearly 30% of children killed are at the hands of their mother acting alone. The reasons are many, one of the least of which is mental issues or conditions. Now he may also loose a wife.
Excusable or not, a promising life has been taken by another. Let us not minimize what took place.
Mr. Parker, nor anyone else could have prevented Sophias death unless they could have been there.
The only way would have been to prevent a woman who was depressed? from contact with the child. /Depression is treatable but someone in that condition should be monitored, not trusted, to make sure medication is taken. Obviously there were some who knew of her condition. Why was she permitted access to the child while she was in this condition?
