People do what they must when faced with hungry children, addiction, mental illness, or the PTSD caused by job loss, uninsured illness and the foreclosures, bankruptcies, divorce and homelessness that generally follows.
That there are so many American's still ignorant of the depths of the New Depression; the solutions as old as FDR; and the job programs, services and training proven to prevent crime and rehabilitate offenders is the fault of a national media in deep torpor.
