I'm torn on this issue. I run a small business that hires mainly 18-25 year old kids at slightly above minimum wage. They all continually punch in late, call in sick with hangovers, ask to leave early, etc. It's annoying to have to deal with as an employer, but the fact is I feel the same way. I'd much rather be home having fun with my wife and kids than putting in hours. I think we all would.
